Paris, which has been immortalized in so many films, songs and plays, also holds a special place in my "traveller´s heart". Going to Paris is a bit like going home...some of the buildings exudate a familiarity that I can only find in Buenos Aires. I know it is far fetched, that most bohemians such as Cortázar made of their lives a double speech (the ever socialist bourgeois lifestyle)...but hey, getting lost in the Latin Quartier, or giving in at one of the many boulangeries for a "quiche de fromage" has its magic (all social and political intention aside) and I am glad to experience it. Again. Tomorrow.
